Sudden Vision Loss
A sudden loss of vision is an eye emergency and requires urgent attention by an eye specialist. It may be caused by a blood vessel occlusion to the optic nerve or a massive retinal detachment.
A blood vessel occlusion is more commonly seen in one with hypertension, diabetes or hyperlipidaemia.
