Blur Vision, Presbyopia ‘Lao Hua’
Blurring of vision can be caused by many factors. Presbyopia (“Lao Hua”) arises from the hardening of the lens in the eye as one ages. As a result, the autofocusing mechanism between near and distant objects becomes less agile. This usually occurs after the age of 40, hence marking the onset of “lao hua” or presbyopia. Reading glasses will help to alleviate this problem.
